When you sign up for our newsletter or download a paper, we collect:
your email address
your first and last name
basic campaign context (such as which form or content led you here)
That’s it—no hidden tracking or profiling.
We use your information to:
send you our newsletter (if you’ve opted in)
deliver papers and other downloads you’ve requested
occasionally follow up with related content that fits your specific interest
If you download a paper, that doesn’t automatically subscribe you to our newsletter. We keep these lists separate to respect your intent.
Your data lives safely in Mailcoach, a GDPR-compliant service hosted within the EU. We may also store temporary exports in Google Workspace for internal communication and administration.
Access is limited to Friktion’s communications team and our trusted technical partners. We apply reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data.
We keep your data as long as you remain a subscriber. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we’ll remove it from our systems.
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how our website is used. Plausible doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t collect personal data.
